Such an underrated game. I played it on emulator the other day and it weirdly still holds up if you: a) Ignore the horrendous graphics/player models, and b) Tune the pitch speeds up by a LOT compared with the defaults. Just because they made a game called "Sammy Sosa's Softball Slam" (which produced one of the greatest episodes of "Continue?" ever, incidentally: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5jS_4dux3EE) doesn't mean they needed to replicate the speed of slow-pitch in their MLB simulation.
Lol. I remember the default pitching settings on this game being pretty bizarre. I ticked the pitch speed up a bit after I had a sixty homer season with Alfonso Soriano!
High Heat Baseball!!! I LOVED that game.
