Hasn't your query about Pandora's Box and hacking the NBA been answered most recently by baseball...particularly with the pitch clock? It would seem that rule changes can in fact restore aesthetics to a game. It's been done repeatedly and in virtually all sports to dilute hacks. Recall NFL pass interference rule changes (1978) and tennis banning the spaghetti racket (1977).

Are you up for moving the 3-point line back a couple of feet? Boom...suddenly bigs matter a lot...just like in "the good old days."
